We held our Remembrance service in school this morning. All of the children in the school had decorated a pebble with a poppy which they laid on the floor as they came into the service to create a '100'. The children in Desert class had each written the name on the back of their pebble of a man from the village of Shillingstone who had lost their life in World War 1. The 'poppy pebbles' were then transferred to our Spiritual Garden by some of our Spiritual Garden Guardians during the school day. They look fantastic and will serve as a poignant reminder of those who sacrificed so much for our country.  Some of the children in Year 4 lead the readings in today's service. Well done to you all.
