The National Curriculum
Shillingstone CE VA Primary School follows the Primary National Curriculum. The document sets out the Programmes of Study and Attainment targets for the subjects taught across the school. Please click here to read this document.
Two year rolling cycle
The National Curriculum is broken down into a two year cycle. This two year rolling cycle documents the content of the curriculum in our school indicating when each subject area is taught throughout the academic year. Please click here to read the school's two year rolling cycle.
Every class sends home a curriculum letter every term, which breaks down the subject areas even further and informs parents/carers about the learning that will take place in the class during that ter. Please go to the class pages on the website, to find out what subjects your child is being taught this term.
