We provide a daily hot lunch service for all pupils at the school. The two course lunches, which are cooked on site, offer pupils a balanced and nutritious meal with a choice of vegetarian and meat-based main courses. Menus are emailed to parents at the start of each term.
From September 2014 all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for free school meals as part of the new government initiative.
If your child has special dietary requirements, these can be catered for and we ask you to discuss with the school office.
Meals are served in the school hall and must be ordered in advance on the Swift Kitchens app. Each child has a unique login code. If you have not got a copy of your child’s login, please contact the school office.
Local authorities are able to grant free school meals to children whose parents/guardians receive Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, or in some instances Child Tax Credit. Find out more at Dorset for You website.
Any pupil who prefers to bring a packed lunch is welcome to do so.
