Uniform

Our school uniform helps to define the ethos of our school. It helps give our children pride in our school and makes them ambassadors for our school in our local community.

School uniform is compulsory. The school uniform can be bought directly, using the school uniform link on our website.

We have a small quantity of second-hand uniform in the school office which has been donated by parents.  If you wish to have a look at what is available for free, please come and speak to the school office.

Please could we ask that all children wear the following uniform every day:

Our School Uniform

All children are required to wear the following:

• White polo shirt with school logo embroidered *  (with collar)
• Blue school sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo embroidered
• Grey trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore
• Summer blue and white gingham dress
• Grey/black/white socks
• Grey tights
• Black shoes

*We understand that these are not always affordable and in line with the government initiative to keep school uniform attainable, we will accept plain white t-shirts. These can be bought much more cheaply, than those with a logo.

Our priority is for the children to have a jumper or cardigan with our school logo.

School PE kit

All children are required to wear the following:

• White t-shirt or navy blue t-shirt with school logo embroidered **  (round neckline, no collar)
• Black shorts or black jogging bottoms
• Black plimsolls or trainers
• White socks
• Blue school sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo embroidered (if chilly)

** P.E t-shirts will now be allowed in navy blue, as well as white. We understand that the white shirts can get particularly dirty and are tricky to clean. White t-shirts will still be part of the school P.E. kit should you wish to keep using them.

Children who take part in after school sports clubs should be wearing school uniform into school and bringing school PE kit with them in their bag. They will be given time at the end of the school day to get changed. Random football kits or team kits are not allowed.

Please ensure that all the school uniform and PE kit has your child’s name clearly marked.

Appearance

The following are not permitted in school:

• Make up
• Hair braids/Extensions
• Nail Varnish
• Jewellery*    (Children may wear one pair of stud earrings only)
• Temporary Tattoos

Preloved School Uniform

We have boxes of spare school uniform in the entrance foyer to the school. Please come in, have a look and help yourself to any clothes that you need for your child. Although these are free and no donations are expected, if you feel you would like to make a small donation, this can be given to the school office.
