Intent
Our school Christian ethos, vision and values underpins everything we do in school. Our vision statement ‘For the body is not one member it is many’ 1 Corinthians 12:14 is at the heart of our curriculum.
We provide a curriculum that is ambitious for all and is linked to the National Curriculum. Our school tagline is Growing together. Together we learn and this reminds us that the body of Christ, or the people that are the whole of humanity, are a team. The body is not supported by one person, but by all of us. We are one, we are strongest working together in unity. This is why we believe it is vital that together, we deliver a curriculum which is broad and balanced and is successfully adapted to meet the needs for ALL children.
At Shillingstone CE Primary School we provide an inclusive curriculum which is coherently planned and sequenced so that the children are able to make good progress across all areas of learning.
